This policy explains how NECTARIA PROIECT SRL processes personal data when you use the Nectaria Solar shop, contact us, create an account or place an order.
1. Who the data controller is
The data controller is NECTARIA PROIECT SRL. For questions or to exercise your rights, you can contact us at contact@nectaria.solar.
2. What data we may process
- contact details, such as your name, e-mail address, phone number and the content of your message;
- data required for your account, order, invoicing, payment, delivery and returns;
- the history of orders and requests addressed to the Nectaria Solar team;
- technical data required for the operation and security of the shop, such as IP address, browser, device, security logs and essential Shopify identifiers.
3. Why we use the data
We process data only for purposes related to your relationship with Nectaria Solar:
- to respond to requests and provide advice before you order;
- to manage your account, cart, order, payment, delivery, returns and warranty;
- to fulfil our accounting, tax and legal obligations;
- to prevent fraud, secure the shop and resolve incidents;
- for newsletters or marketing communications only when you have explicitly opted in.
The legal basis for processing may be the performance of a contract or steps taken at your request before entering into it, compliance with a legal obligation, our legitimate interest in the security and operation of the shop, or consent, where required.
4. Providers and recipients
We may share only the necessary data with providers that support the operation of the shop and the fulfilment of an order, for example Shopify, payment processors, hosting and security services, couriers, technical service providers, accountants or consultants. Data may be disclosed to authorities when required by law. We do not sell personal data and do not share it with advertising networks for behavioural profiling.
5. Cookies, analytics and preferences
Shopify uses essential mechanisms for localisation, security, cart, account and checkout. These are necessary for the shop to function. Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, Mailchimp Connected Sites, TikTok/AdTrace and Apollo are not active on the verified storefront.
AgenticWeb Analytics is cookieless: it does not set or read cookies to identify visitors. The available preferences are managed through Shopify Customer Privacy, and the "Privacy preferences" control remains accessible in the page footer.
6. How long we keep the data
We keep data only for as long as necessary for the purposes described, for the performance of the contract and for the periods required by accounting, tax and warranty legislation or for the defence of legal rights. Requests that do not lead to an order are kept only as long as needed to respond and follow up on the conversation.
7. Your rights
Under the conditions set out in Regulation (EU) 2016/679, you may request:
- access to your data and a copy of it;
- rectification of inaccurate data;
- erasure or restriction of processing;
- data portability;
- to object to certain processing;
- withdrawal of consent, without affecting processing carried out before the withdrawal.

8. Security and transfers
We apply proportionate technical and organisational measures to protect data. Some technology providers may process data outside the European Economic Area; in such cases, the transfer mechanisms and safeguards provided by the relevant provider are used, in accordance with applicable law.
