How We Work at Nectaria: From Your Electricity Bill to a Commissioned System

Solar panels installed on a residential tile roof

A good solar PV system starts with the way you use energy. At Nectaria Solar, the first question is what the installation needs to do for your home: cover daytime consumption, store energy for the evening, or power essential loads when the grid goes down. Based on these answers, we choose the panels, the inverter and, where useful, the battery.

The configurations in our shop are starting points. We size each system for the consumption, grid connection and roof of that particular house. We explain the choice and prepare the equipment, installation and documentation together with you, so that you know what comes next before the team arrives.

We start with your location and consumption

For the first conversation, your location and a rough idea of your monthly consumption are enough. If you have already sent us documents or information, we read them and only ask for what is missing. As we shape the project, the electricity bill helps us understand consumption and identify the consumption point.

We confirm the site: the address where you want the system may be different from the correspondence address on the bill. We also check the holder of the electricity contract, so that the documentation is prepared for the right person. These simple clarifications avoid back-and-forth and keep the project tied to the house where we will actually be working.

The bill shows consumption; approved power is checked separately

The approved power is read from the ATR (grid connection technical approval) or the distribution contract. The supplier's bill is useful for consumption, but it does not replace these documents. The grid connection and the approved power influence the choice of inverter and the route of the prosumer application. If the document is missing, we tell you what information needs to be obtained before we settle on the solution.

We choose the power to fit life in the house

We are interested both in how much energy you consume and in the hours when you use it. A home that is occupied during the day has different needs from one where the major loads start in the evening. We discuss heating, the water heater, air conditioning, a workshop or charging an electric car, where these exist or are going to be installed.

Confirmed future consumption is included in the sizing. A possibility that is still undecided is discussed separately, so that the current investment has a clear justification. We can propose a system without a battery or a configuration with storage, whichever suits the way you use energy.

What we check What decision it prepares
The household's consumption and schedule Panel power and the usefulness of a battery
The grid connection and the approved power The inverter and the grid connection documentation
The roof, orientation and shading The panel model, layout and structure
The loads that must be kept running during outages The backup configuration

We check the site before scheduling

The roof determines how we can lay out the panels and how we fix them. We check the roof covering, usable dimensions, orientation, shading and access. We also look at the inverter location, the electrical routes and the existing electrical panel. A spacious roof is only an advantage if the surface can be used correctly for your project.

The mounting structure we import directly is one we have been using for more than four years. If the job requires a special structure, we order it for that roof. The mounting system is chosen per project, with no improvisation. You can see the components in the mounting structures collection.

Panels and inverter chosen to work together

AIKO and LONGi are the manufacturers of the world's highest-efficiency solar panels. In the international TaiyangNews TOP SOLAR MODULES ranking, AIKO held first place alone from 2023 until April 2026, and since then has shared first place with LONGi, both with 25% efficiency for their top-of-the-range modules. A manufacturer that reaches 25% in series production is clearly a quality manufacturer.

In the systems in this collection, we use the AIKO 650 W, with 24% efficiency, or the LONGi Hi-MO X10 480 W, with 23.5% efficiency, together with a single-phase or three-phase Premium Hinen inverter. The starting configurations range from about 6.2 to 12.35 kWp. We choose the right option after assessing the house.

Panel dimensions matter for installation. The LONGi 480 W is approximately 1.80 m long and can also be used on flat roofs. The AIKO 650 W is approximately 2.38 m long and we use it on suitable sites, such as pitched roofs, halls with sandwich panels or ground-mounted systems. On flat roofs, our rule is to use panels no longer than 2 m.

Nectaria is an official Hinen distributor and imports the brand's equipment directly. We buy AIKO panels directly from the manufacturer, and LONGi from a distributor in Romania. Knowing where the equipment comes from is part of choosing it and of the support we can offer after installation.

What the system with installation includes

Systems without batteries include the panels, the inverter, standard installation, DC cables, the structure, the protection panel and documentation for the prosumer application. The standard installation conditions are checked on site, so that the final quote reflects the actual work.

  • 6 mm² solar cable and original Stäubli MC4 connectors: we plan the routing and connections together, with attention to losses and safety.
  • Premium Hinen inverter: 10-year warranty with the system connected to the Hinen app.
  • Storage, when chosen: Hinen batteries with a 10-year warranty and 8,000 cycles, in a compatible configuration.
  • Backup: Hinen Smart Box and circuits prepared for essential loads, on systems with a battery.

Our stock helps us schedule quickly

In about 90% of cases, the panels, inverters, batteries and standard structure are available at our warehouse in Alba Iulia, Strada Livezii 35A. We confirm the availability of the chosen configuration before scheduling. A special structure is prepared according to what the roof requires.

We install the systems in this collection in Alba, Cluj, Sibiu, Hunedoara and Mureș. For projects of at least 50 kW, we can carry out work anywhere in Romania. The area and site conditions are established from the start, together with the site check.

Installation, testing and commissioning

A 3–12 kW residential system is installed in a single day under normal conditions, after technical validation and preparation. Planning ahead helps you avoid taking several days off for a standard job. The electrical work is carried out only by our own engineers; Nectaria is an ANRE-certified company with more than 15 years of experience.

After installation come the mandatory tests, then commissioning, as separate stages. We connect the system to the app and show you how to monitor production. For configurations with a battery, we also explain how to use the storage and backup power, according to the equipment and circuits prepared.

The prosumer application and support after installation

We prepare the documentation for the prosumer application in line with the installed configuration and the situation of the consumption point. The distribution operator's steps are completed separately from the installation of the equipment. When a power increase is also needed, we assess this requirement before the solution is finalised.

After installation, we remain your point of contact for questions about the system and how it works. You have equipment chosen for your home, access to production data in the app and a team that knows the installation. You can also compare the systems with batteries if you want energy stored for the evening.

Call 0723 172 359 or message us on WhatsApp. Tell us your location and approximate consumption, and we will start from your situation.
