A Hinen system for a home should be chosen as a whole: inverter, battery and backup configuration. Backup means supplying the circuits specified in the design when the public grid goes down. Comparing battery capacity alone is not enough. The power available for your loads must also be checked.
Nectaria is an official Hinen distributor and imports directly. We help you check the right configuration for your home, compatible equipment and warranty terms. For Hinen models, the product data and the commercial terms must be read together: a high cycle count declared in the datasheet does not, on its own, represent the length of a warranty.
Who Hinen is
Hinen New Energy is part of the ANFU CE LINK group, listed in Shenzhen, with experience in developing and manufacturing electronics for other brands. Hinen dates the group's beginnings to 2004, while the subsidiary Dongguan Hinen New Energy Technology was established in 2022. These dates do not mean that the same company has been producing inverters since 2004. Hinen history and document on the Dongguan subsidiary.
The company has official sales and service contacts in Germany, an address in Amsterdam and a presence in the United Kingdom. In Poland, the local page explicitly mentions an office and a warehouse. The European presence is a useful reference point, and for your delivery we separately check the product and the lead time available at Nectaria. Inverter power and battery energy
Power, expressed in kW, shows how much your loads can draw at the same time within the equipment's limits. Energy, expressed in kWh, shows how much the battery can store. The two values answer different questions: what you can power, and for how long you can use the available energy.
Also compare nominal capacity with usable capacity. The first describes the battery's declared capacity; the second is the portion available under the conditions specified by the manufacturer. Hinen publishes both values for the models below. A clear quote lets you see the difference before you order.
What the Hinen inverter portfolio includes
The A series includes single-phase hybrid systems, i.e. for single-phase installations, from 3.6 to 15 kW. The datasheets document the 3.6–5 kW and 8–15 kW variants separately. The exact model and its variant must be matched to your installation. Single-phase 3.6–5 kW datasheet and 8–15 kW datasheet.
For three-phase installations, the A series includes the A10000T, A15000T, A20000T and A25000T models, from 10 to 25 kW. The datasheet for this family states that backup loads are transferred within 10 milliseconds at most. This specification belongs to that family and does not automatically apply to all Hinen systems. Three-phase A series datasheet.
See the Nectaria inverter collection. If you already have panels or an inverter, send us the existing models. The recommendation must start from compatibility, not from the assumption that any battery works with any inverter.
Hinen batteries: three useful reference points
What cells do Hinen batteries use? We asked the manufacturer directly. For its energy storage batteries, Hinen uses cells from Great Power or Cornex, two manufacturers specialising in cells for energy storage. The BMS (the electronic system that protects and controls the battery) and the battery pack are designed and manufactured by Hinen. The cells Hinen makes itself are intended for e-bikes, not for home batteries.
BP5000
The BP5000 uses LFP chemistry, i.e. lithium iron phosphate, and has a nominal capacity of 5.12 kWh and 4.6 kWh usable. The datasheet declares more than 8,000 cycles under defined conditions: a temperature of 25°C, 90% depth of discharge and the charge and discharge rates stated in the document. A cycle describes repeated use of the battery's energy; the test figure is not an unconditional promise for every operating pattern. BP5000 datasheet.
BH7700
BH7700A, BH7700B and BH7700C designate configurations with one, two or three modules. The nominal capacities are 7.776, 15.552 and 23.328 kWh. The battery control unit, called the BMS, has the code BH7700P or BH7700P II. The BMS monitors battery operation; BH7700A is not the code for this unit. Official BH7700 manual.
B16000
The B16000 is an LFP model with 16.07 kWh nominal and 14.47 kWh usable capacity. The datasheet states an IP21 protection rating and specifies it for indoor installation. The fact that the model is in the portfolio does not automatically mean local stock: check availability and the full code before ordering. B16000 datasheet. How we choose backup for your home
Some configurations use dedicated SmartBox units. The Hinen catalogue pairs the SmartBox S1 with the H6000-EU and the SmartBox S3 with the H12000H-EU. These units manage grid disconnection for the configurations they are designed for. We do not treat them as accessories universally compatible with all series. Hinen documentation catalogue.
To prepare the configuration, tell us what you want to keep powered and what equipment you already have. We check the power, the battery, the inverter model and the switching solution. A transfer time declared for a particular series should not be confused with a universal promise of uninterrupted operation for every appliance.
Hinen warranties, explained before you buy
The European inverter policy provides a five-year warranty, with a free extension to ten years if the inverter is connected to the Hinen cloud and production data is uploaded successfully. Cloud means the manufacturer's online platform. Simply installing the app does not fulfil the whole condition. European service and warranty policy.
The European battery warranty card covers the BP5000, BH7700 and B16000 with a ten-year standard warranty, subject to its conditions, including those on distribution, installation and internet connection. We do not promise universal 80% retention after ten years: the document differentiates by operating conditions and cumulative energy throughput. European battery warranty.
