What KSTAR is and why it is worth including in your project
KSTAR is a manufacturer of power equipment with experience in UPS and critical power supply. Shenzhen KSTAR Science & Technology was founded in 1993 and has been listed in Shenzhen since 2010 under the code 002518. What matters is the battery supplied, the power of the conversion equipment and how the switchover to backup works. The PCS is the equipment that manages the electrical conversion between the battery and the installation. Choose the starting point for your configuration
KSTAR 107 kWh system with 50 kW PCS
The official datasheet specifies the 107.52 kWh BC107DE2 battery together with the 50 kW KAC50DP2 PCS. Capacity, expressed in kWh, describes the stored energy. Power, expressed in kW, shows the level of supply available within the limits of the equipment. Both must be matched to your requirements. Official datasheet (in Romanian).

KSTAR 215 kWh system with 100 or 125 kW PCS
The 215.04 kWh BC215DE2 battery can be paired with the 100 kW KAC100DP2 PCS or with the 125 kW KAC125DP2, depending on the power you need. Cabinet of approx. 261 kWh and 125 kW KAC125DP2

The backup advantage: integrated STS on the standard KAC125DP2
The standard KAC125DP2 integrates the STS function for switching between grid and backup. The STS is the static transfer switch that performs this switchover. According to the documentation, no dedicated external STS is required for its own switching function. However, the manual separately identifies the “-S0” variant, without STS. The updated datasheet states approx. 10 milliseconds for a single PCS with a purely resistive load, i.e. a simple electrical load without the behaviour typical of motors. This value is not a promise of the same time for every machine or every configuration. KSTAR datasheet 202607-V6.
The switchboards, protection devices and other equipment required by your installation remain part of the project. The confirmed advantage concerns the integrated switching. We do not automatically extend it to all DP2 models, and we do not assume that the 50 or 100 kW systems have an identical configuration.

We do not size storage on the basis of the hall's floor area alone. Prepare your consumption data, information about the existing PV installation and the list of loads that must be supplied when the grid is unavailable. This allows a concrete discussion about power, energy and the equipment required.

The warranty terms must be attached to the quoted configuration. For the DE2A family with 314 Ah cells, the KSTAR document distinguishes between five years of product warranty and ten years of performance warranty, subject to specific conditions.
