Deye: The Hybrid Inverter Range and Choosing the Right System

Why you come across Deye inverters so often

Deye is a very popular brand of hybrid inverters, frequently mentioned in discussions about homes with batteries and commercial systems with storage. The extensive range and the ability to work with batteries from several manufacturers explain the interest in this equipment. According to the official Deye company profile, the company had shipped a cumulative total of over 5 million inverters by the end of 2025, of which 2 million were hybrids.

For you, how widespread a brand is serves as a starting point. The choice, however, depends on your grid connection, consumption, battery and how you want your home or business to operate. At Nectaria Solar you will find Deye models from several families, and the discussion starts with these specific needs.

A wide range, from homes to commercial projects

The Nectaria portfolio includes single-phase and three-phase versions, with low-voltage and high-voltage batteries. For a home with a single-phase grid connection, you can see the Deye SUN-6K-SG05LP1-EU 6 kW. In the three-phase range with low-voltage batteries, one example is the Deye SUN-10K-SG05LP3-EU 10 kW.

For higher outputs, our shop includes the Deye 20 kW three-phase HV, the 30 kW HV model and the 50 kW solution. The distinct families make it possible to discuss different projects, without treating all Deye inverters as the same product.

The manufacturer's catalogue explicitly separates LV three-phase hybrids from HV three-phase hybrids. LV means low voltage and HV high voltage in the battery circuit. They are not two interchangeable options for any battery.

Compatibility is an advantage when it is verified per model

Being able to choose the battery from a wider portfolio can make Deye attractive for projects with different requirements. But the brand name on the battery is not enough: what matters is the model, the version and the inverter family. The pairing is verified in the applicable documentation, including for communication between the battery and the inverter.

For example, the official Dyness compatibility list for low-voltage batteries includes the PowerBrick Plus and Deye models. This supports the combinations listed. An LV battery does not become compatible with an HV inverter just because both products are popular or come from a family designed for storage.

At Nectaria we help you choose a coherent configuration. You can start from the inverter that suits your grid connection or from a battery you already have, and the check is done for the system as a whole. This way, you compare complete systems and know what expansion options you have.

How we look at the budget for a Deye system

Price is one of the natural criteria when comparing inverters. We recommend looking at the complete investment: inverter, battery, backup equipment and installation. A unit chosen in isolation says little about the cost of a system that will meet all your requirements.

With Deye, the variety of the range gives you more starting points for this comparison. There is, however, no universal configuration that is the best value for every home. A project with an existing battery may lead to a different choice than a new installation, and the requirement for power during outages must be discussed from the start. In Nectaria's quote, these choices are explained together.

Warranty: who is actually responsible for the system

With any brand, what matters is both the manufacturer's warranty and the practical path of a claim: seller, distributor, installer and service. For you, the useful question is who takes on the case, who checks the installation and how the resolution is organised. A number of years in a sales presentation does not, on its own, answer these questions.

Deye publishes a list of its service centres. The regional document for SUN hybrids installed in Europe provides for a 10-year warranty, subject to the applicable terms and certificate; it can be viewed in the document issued by Deye, available from the distributor SolSol. This period does not automatically extend to all Deye batteries and all Deye product families.

Before you buy, it is worth clarifying the service side as well: the documents required, diagnosis, transport and replacement. The same criterion applies to any brand. It helps you assess what support you actually have after commissioning.

When we recommend also comparing Hinen

For customers who put fast service first, our recommendation is to also consider the Hinen solution with Nectaria support. We are an official Hinen distributor and have equipment in stock. If a fault requires the unit to be replaced, we make an immediate replacement from stock, and the manufacturer subsequently sends us the new unit.

This is an advantage of the way we support the Hinen solution. The final choice remains tied to your project: existing components, storage needs, backup and budget. We compare the options on these criteria and explain what you get with each configuration.

Nectaria Solar carries out residential installations in Alba, Sibiu, Cluj, Hunedoara, Bistrița-Năsăud, Bihor and Mureș, as well as commercial projects of at least 50 kW across Romania.
