Three-phase hybrid inverters

For large homes and commercial projects, a three-phase inverter is chosen based on the grid connection, load distribution, PV array and the supported high- or low-voltage battery.

Phase balancing, protection devices and backup power are part of the design, not simply a matter of choosing the rated power.

Clear answers

Questions before you buy

These answers explain the commercial and technical limits of the choice. The product specification and the confirmed quote remain decisive.

When is a three-phase inverter the right choice?

In projects with a three-phase grid connection, higher power ratings or loads distributed across three phases. The final choice must be aligned with the grid approval, the wiring scheme and the approved power.

Does a three-phase inverter keep all phases running in backup mode?

Do not assume so. The number of phases and the power available at the backup output are specific to the model and the installation scheme.

Can I connect low-voltage batteries to any three-phase model?

No. Some models use high-voltage batteries, others low-voltage ones. The voltage, BMS and protocol must appear in the approved configurations.

What does having two or more MPPTs mean?

MPPTs allow groups of panels to be managed separately. They are useful when orientations differ, but each string must stay within the voltage and current range of its input.
